TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you submit a job application to us or send a query to us. The types of information we may collect in this context includes your name, email address, mailing address, professional or employment information as may be included on your CV or resume, and any other information you choose to provide.

We also collect certain types of information automatically from you whenever you use our Services. This information includes device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, operating system version, web pages visited, time and date of access, URL of any referring website and other device and log information

Additionally, we may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your approximate location based on your IP address.

Our Services use "cookies," "web beacons," and other similar technologies. We use these technologies, for example,  to understand your use of our website and help us improve our Services. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We share personal information in the following circumstances or as otherwise described in this policy:

  • We share personal information with vendors, consultants, and advisors that access personal information to perform work for us, such as companies that assist us with web hosting, fraud prevention, and marketing and advertising.
  • We may disclose your personal information if we or any of our assets are the subject of a sale or similar corporate transaction.

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers, Internet or other electronic network activity, and inferences drawn about you. We collect personal information for the business and commercial purposes described in the HOW WE USE INFORMATION section above. We will not discriminate against you if you exercise your rights under the CCPA.

If we receive your request from an authorized agent and they do not provide a valid power of attorney, we may ask the authorized agent to provide proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request to exercise rights on your behalf. In the absence of a valid power of attorney, we may also require you to verify your own identity directly with us or confirm to us that you otherwise provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

We process personal information in reliance on the following lawful bases:

  • When we have a legitimate interest in processing your personal information to operate our business or protect our interests (e.g., to provide, maintain, and improve our products and services, conduct data analytics, and communicate with you).
  • To comply with our legal obligations (e.g., to maintain a record of your consents and track those who have opted out of marketing communications).

DATA RETENTION

We store your personal information for a period of 24 months from your last date of use, unless we have a legal need to retain it longer, in which case we will only retain it as long as necessary to carry out that purpose.

Known may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by posting a revised policy on our website, which will be identifiable by the updated date.
